Hi,

OpenSSH could cease to exist. Why ? The OpenBSD CD sales
are very much less this year. OpenSSH is financed through
the OpenBSD CD sales.

To cut a long story short, if OpenBSD doesn't sell enough
CDs with the 4.9 release, there WILL be no money for producing
CDs next year. Part of the CD sales keep Theo de raadt employed
full-time on openbsd.

CD sales are very important, since OpenBSD is one of the last
``true'' open source systems. Instead of doing a commercial/community
release, there is a single release for everybody.

As such, openbsd requires a constant source of revenue in the form
of CD sales. The CDs are ~ Rs 1500.00
