<div dir="ltr">Saw the sad news yesterday on Hacker News and I knew I met Atul Chitnis before during a conference but I couldn't remember which one. </div>
<div dir="ltr">This conference was organised by Joel Bruneau and Deven Payamootoo of IBL. Speakers included Atul Chitnis of FOSS.in, a guy from IBM, a guy from Oracle and me talking about a survey LUGM had just done at that time about the use of Linux in Mauritius. </div>
<div dir="ltr">(By the way, the conclusion of the survey was that quite a lot of people and companies were using Linux at that time but only few contributed to it and/or participated in the community. Has this changed?) </div>
