I have just received an email from higher spheres confirming this... Here are the co-organisers:<br><br>(1) The Linux Group of Mauritius (yeah!!!)<br><br>(2) The University of Mauritius and, more specifically, the Efficient Computing research group of the Department of Computer Science (<a href="http://cse.uom.ac.mu/node/27">http://cse.uom.ac.mu/node/27</a>)<br><br>(3) L'Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (<a href="http://www.auf.org/">http://www.auf.org/</a>)<br><br>The one-day Seminar will take place at the University of Mauritius and most of the cost will be born by the AUF. LUGM has a major role to play in the organisation as well as on the day of the Seminar.<br><br>I am contacting Mr Navuth Tep, Director of AUF operations in Mauritius, and Mr Anwar Chutoo, Team Leader of the Efficient Computing research group, right away to ask for a meeting beginning of next week to discuss about the things to do during the coming weeks. (Some) Members of the Managing-Committee should ideally be present.<br><br>Like we discussed before, the seminar will be in two parts (1) presentations on OSS (and, I understand, some of the presentations need to be in French (this is a special request of the AUF...)) and (2) a demonstration on some PCs of how powerful OSS is.
