I understand the what you mean now by plain text.

Still you have to go through a lot of lines to get the intended mail.

@ishwon had an article or maybe in one of our discussions  mentioned of
using google to search through the archive of a mailing list

Even the archive of the mailing list of MIU gives a headache when you have
to go through its web-text mail archive
