*Job description IT Engineer – Leal Communications and Informatics Ltd*

*Brief description of the job*









Provide design, installation, implementation and support services for IT
equipment on sites

Be on 24x7 roster for customer interventions



*Secondary / Technical /Tertiary/ Professional Qualification and experience*



Good English and French results in SC/ HSC

Bachelor in  Electronic Engineering/Computer Systems

3-4 years experience in support of IT systems of above 50 users



Linux Certified professional



Hardware support experience of 2-3 years on servers and preferably SAN

HP Certification

Support of IT environments of above 50 users

MCSE 2012 desirable





*Main Tasks and responsibilities attached to the position*









Do site surveys ,  participate in customer meetings, build technical
solutions for customers

Write up of  technical proposals

Do server and other IT equipment installation as per requirement and
project timelines

Respond to incidents and resolve as per SLA requirements

Follow-up on incidents and ensure closure to customer’s satisfaction

Follow all company and ISO procedures

Document all implementations and interventions

Communicate with customers

Train staff and customers as required

*Other related duties assigned to the job*











Attend staff and other meetings

Assist with asset management

Assist with review of process and procedures

Build knowledge database and share
