-Opening speech by President (Ronny Reddi)
-Ronny stressed the importance of completing the Nicolay project.-There was mention of hackers.mu, and a discussion.-Avinash stressed that it was important for keeping the bonds open between LUGM and the different Open Source groups on the island.-History of LUGM.-Proposal for organizing a LinuxFest.
Event proposal:16th September
-Ronny suggested having a bazaar for IT-Ish sookun stressed the importance of interactions & demos.-Ajay volunteered for manning the booths.-Kishan Bhugul suggested emphasis laid on Linux and embedded devices-Pritvi suggested quiz & prices.-Nitin suggested outreach to different regions including Roches Bois & Rodrigues.-Avinash stressed the importance of conferences like OSS 2011.
