The user-base behind knetbsd was always small.
A large number of netbsd, freebsd and OpenBSD consumers are the people who are using android smartphones. Android contains a large amount of BSD code on top of the Linux kernel.

Given what Guillem indicated, I'd support removal.

It's often the case that we mark it as deprecated and issue an 
explicit 
error if someone tries to build the port.  That seems wise here.
