Hello

I was present today for the "Open Source and Open Protocols" event fired by Logan at the University of Mauritius. We did not have any issues with the booking of the room this time. Everything was well planned. Thanks to the one who had booked this room and do all the necessary arrangements concerning this event.

I strongly believe we should organise this Install fest to increase awareness of the latency issues in Mauritius.

However, i also think, prior to that, we need to create a virtual awareness campaign about firmwares such as the openWRT firmware itself [Lets make this viral on social networks!!]. Many students themselves are not aware that they can flash their router and install these open source softwares.
In the long run, some will migrate to it for ever, as others perhaps would like to contribute to it - reporting bugs, analysis, blogging etc..

Others will be naturally motivated to do profound research on bufferbloat.

After this mini virtual awareness, i am sure that many would like to adventure in more depth.

I really apreciated the presentation today. It was just the first episode as logan said. I am waiting for the 2nd one :)

So who is busy bufferbloating right now ?

Again, thank you logan for sharing.

regards
Nitin J Mutkawoa
