[lugm.org] Linuxfest 2013

There was definitely no mention of the Logo in the Minutes of Meeting,
since as clearly written as title it was a Linux meetup minutes of meeting,
not a Lugm MC, hence no such decisions can be 'made', but LUG event is
something that is supposed to be made by the lug itself. Do not confuse an
MC and a members meeting. For the logo falls in preparation of the event
section, which those fresh new faces have generously offered to help with.
I don't understand all the shenanigans about this, I merely view this
discussion entirely as bike shedding here.

We are supposed to actually be working together to make this event happen,
and then, a flame started because of "rumors" that a logo is being made,
that also, there was NO mention of it replacing the actual logo in the
mail, nor was i also informed about a logo being made to change the
official logo, all in all, it doesn't hurt to have new graphics added, and
this brought to MC in case anyone wants to change anything. No one is
changing anything, but still, no need to get so alarmed, nothing gets
changed without an MC approval.

If today we can't allow newer people to contribute creatively to a lug
without bombarding them with flames strictness, where are we going in our
mission to make opensource users to meet each other? Rules will be followed
and shall be followed, since every change goes through an MC for vote, so
why the fear?

Now, let's get back to be a happy community and let's get the work done,
so considering the event, Nadim & co has made a page, and are requesting
for contents, anyone volunteering for that yet?

I'll liase with Ajay and Nadim later and hopefully come up with something
to write about maybe about something new i might want to try. Please focus
on the problem solving and we'll settle paperworks when paperwork times
comes.
