Hello Bhavish, 

Use imagewriter. It works fine with opensuse. Easy
install & easy use :) 

On SuSE:
http://software.opensuse.org/package/imagewriter?search_term=imagewriter


It's also available on Ubuntu repos. 

So, under Ubuntu/Mint etc.
