Perhaps this fact might be interesting: instead of just shipping blobs
that nobody can fix like freebsd/linux do, damien went the hard way and 
reverse engineered Intel's ultra Complex wireless chipsets that many
linux programmers thought was impossible to do.

His dayjob has nothing to do with BSDs or wireless, it was just a
hobby :-)
