Talking about geeky stuff, did any of you notice how Japanese
anime is turning into crap these days ?

Save for some few good shows: Naruto, FMA, death note, and
some few others, most of them are crap. Gundams have
feminine aspects, male heroes are worthless and rescued by their
gf who is a ninja expert, and worst of all: boys enjoying haruhi suzumiya.

I still pine for the good old 90s show: HOKUTO NO KEN, CITY HUNTER,
SAINT SEIYA, Gundam Zeta, Victory Gundam, Char's counterattack.

Cool, I'll try to be in QB tomorrow ;-).

A public place :-) I think it's going to be cool. However,
it's going to get hot, and probably beers will probably be needed :-D

hello Mec

Sincelerely i wont use the CD but i'm keen to donate/buy.
I would really like that by buying the CD, i can
get stickers to put on my laptop so that when next time we do our meeting at some public place where the public
will ask questions who these weirdos are, we can promote open source.

And really, next meeting should NOT be at some office, but in a public place (pas le 1er mai dans meeting kan meme) on some day with une grosse foule qui passe et qui se posent la question c'est qui ces geeks. et en meme temps on offre des cds ou other goodies.

now, it would be great to share your ideas. Its open :)

Cheers

Ronny

PS: with hollywood, geeks are celebrities, but adoption of linux or other FOSS is difficult.
PS2: create curiosity always create a buzz :)

PS3: no i am not cracking my PS3 even if i can :P

Hi,

This is just a reminder to all those who still wish

to buy OpenBSD CDs to support the ongoing development
efforts and/or donate money to OpenSSH only.

I can collect the money if we can meet at Quatres Bornes or
at your workplace.

That said, theo wrote another mail for companies who

wish to channel money only for specific areas. Apparently,
if you want to have some code written for your company,
and make it open source, you can do so. (Theo isn't for hire
however :-D).
