Nokia’s Calling All Innovators 2010 – More Opportunities to
Win!
This year, Nokia’s Calling
All Innovators developer contest offers more opportunities to win than
ever before. More than $1.5 million (USD) in cash and prizes are
available, including the $1 million investment that will be made in
the winning idea submitted to the Growth Economy Venture Challenge.
For
mobile developers, submit your winning application in any of these
contest categories:
1) Eco/Being Green; 2) Entertainment; 3) Productivity; 4) Life Improvement.
The top three submissions in each application category will receive cash prizes of up to
$30,000 (USD). Additional prizes include for instance Spotlight
placement of the winning apps in Nokia’s Ovi Store, and an in-depth User Experience Evaluation.
New This Year: Special Prizes
Regardless of
category, all application submissions are eligible to win special
prizes, too. These additional prizes are based on the type of technology used to create the app, or other award criteria, as noted below:
* Best
mobile computing application: $50,000 (USD) in cash, plus inclusion
in a multi-million dollar global marketing campaign.
* Best application for
the Nokia N900: $50,000 (USD) in cash.
* Best cross-platform application
using Qt: $50,000 (USD) in cash.
* Best locally relevant application with
global potential: $15,000 (USD) in cash.
* Best RSS Apps: Top 10 submissions created using the new Ovi app wizard could win a new Nokia device and up
to $5,000 (USD).
* Canadian Content: $20,000 (CDN) in cash available
