At least for now, google DNS seems to adhere to standards, unlike
other DNS servers who redirect you to an ad page when the domain
doesn't exist.

If they decide to log() and run some perl scripts on the requests, that's 
an ethical issue. Adhering to technical standards is the primary concern 
in this case.

At times, I would have problems with OpenDNS (rarely). So far,
google DNS is very good.

It' standard compliant as well: returns NX-Domain on non-existing domain.
